The purpose of the American Jersey Cattle Association, an association of Jersey breeders, are to improve and promote the breed of Jersey cattle in the United States and to maintain such records and activities as the Association deem necessary or conductive to the best interests of the breeders of Jersey cattle.

Junior Membership

Qualifications +

The youth is the future of the organization and is ever important to get involved at a young age. To do that all you need, is to be under the age of 21 and be either (1) the single Recorded Owner on a Registered Jersey or (2) listed by name as on of the Recorded Owners in a partnership. 

Benefits +

When you become a Junior member you become affiliated with the oldest dairy breed organization in the United States. The American Jersey Cattle Association was organized in 1868 to “Improve and promote the Jersey breed” It is today a worldwide leader among purebred registry organizations.

Staying at the top isn’t as easy as it seems, we need your help and you need ours. Therefore when you become a member you save your hard earned money on registration rates, at least $3 for every animal until your membership expires on December 31, of the year you turn 21.

You like to show, so do we! But pump the brakes you need to be a member to participate in our events like the National Jersey Youth Achievement Contest, National Youth Production Contest, and the All American Junior Jersey Show. But our support for the future generations doesn’t stop there. Membership also allows you to apply for numerous national scholarships and educational awards as our investment in you!

OR by filling out the form on the Benefits will automatically expire on December 31, of the year you turn 21. The form below can also be filled out for Junior Membership applications.

Terms and Conditions +

Terms, provisions, conditions and restrictions are found in the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the American Jersey Cattle Association. There are no annual dues, and this membership will allow you to register Jerseys at member rates. Junior memberships automatically expire on December 31 of the year that a junior member reaches their 21st birthday.
